WHAT IS OUR FAVOURITE PRECIOUS METAL TO WORK WITH?
Gold. Gold is special. Gold is very rare. If you melted all the gold in the world, you would get a cube about 20 metres across. And that's about it. We are always fascinated by the colour of gold. And we prefer a fine, matte finish that lets the gem shine and enhances the shape of the piece of jewellery.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE STONE?
Tourmaline. Green tourmaline. But as Coco Chanel said: ‘The best colour in the world is the one that looks good on you.’
THE SPECIAL CUT.
The French word cabochon refers to a very old form of cutting. Cabochons are stones cut like pebbles. The surface of the stone is smooth and has no facets. This makes it easier to see inside the little crystal cosmos. And see the growth lines, for example. Proof of the origin and authenticity of the stone.
THE OWN COLLECTION.
We are passionate about special gemstones and their history. The crystals come from inside the earth. Formed at very high temperatures, a very long time ago. Be it tourmaline, aquamarine, tanzanite or moonstone. We play with the variety of colours of the stones. We don't look at which stone is the most expensive. Instead, we look at which one is particularly beautiful and profound. And tells us something about itself. The gemstone is at the centre of our design work.
